Time:                   9am – 5pm (CDT), which includes a lunch break

Location:            Starke County Sheriff’s Office

          5435 E. State Road 8, Knox, IN 46534

Cost:                   $50 (cash or check only), to be paid on the day of the event

This course will include 2 hours of instruction covering the safe storage and handling of firearms and carrying considerations, approximately 4 hours at a shooting range learning the fundamentals of shooting, and 1 hour of follow-up.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be 21 years old or older
• Each applicant must complete and submit a registration form

Participants must bring an unloaded handgun (holster optional), a minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition, as well as ear and eye protection.

First 30 applicants will be reserved, all remaining will be placed on a waiting list.

Registration forms can be found here, or can be picked up at the Starke County Sheriff’s Office.
